The tabloids and Internet have been buzzing with rumors of a possible pregnancy for Katie Holmes, but her rep is insisting the 31-year-old star and husband Tom Cruise are not expecting.
Recent photos of Holmes paying a visit to her doctor’s office while sporting what some have described as maternity attire, sparked the pregnancy rumors.
Holmes has been spending some quality time with her 3-year-old daughter, Suri, after hitting the Sundance Film Festival circuit where she promoted her new films, “The Extra Man” and “The Romantics.”
“She is magical,” Holmes told People of Suri in January. “She’s growing up really, really fast.”
Suri Cruise is one of the world’s most recognizable celebrity offspring, and may soon be taking on a new title: Big sis! The New York Post is reporting that Suri’s mom, actress Katie Holmes, has been undergoing “auditing,” which in Scientology may mean she’s “being prepared” for a second child.
Holmes, 31, has reportedly been “spending hours at the Hollywood Scientology Center,” which a source tells the Post, “is exactly what happened just before she got pregnant with Suri.” And Holmes’ husband, famous Scientologist Tom Cruise, seems to be on board. “Tom has made no secret of the fact that he would like another baby,” that same source speculates.
Cruise, 47, is currently promoting his upcoming features The Extra Man and The Romantics. Cruise and Holmes’ daughter Suri will turn 4 years old on April 18.
